The motion sensor (MBD AL) is designed for automatic light control in rooms that are used sporadically, e.g. classrooms, meeting rooms, gyms, sports halls, stockrooms, laundry rooms, corridors, stores, etc., for greater convenience and to save electricity.
The MBD AL can be used to advantage in combination with lights, extraction, heating, etc., and saves a lot of electricity in such contexts. MDB offers a saving of up to 70% compared with a standard switch.
The MBD AL has an ON/OFF/AUTO button. In AUTO, the light only comes on if there is movement and stays on for 2 min., for example, after the last detected movement (adjustable from 2 sec. – 2 hours).
The Lux version also has a light sensor, so the light will not come on if there is light already (adjustable from 50-500 lux).
